Dave & Jen arrived Friday morning, so the girls & I drove out to the airport to pick them up. We had a relaxing afternoon just playing at home, waiting for Dan to get home from a work trip. Friday night we took them to see the Marietta Square for dinner, ice cream & some dancing in the dark!
Unfortunately, it pretty much rained the whole time they were in Atlanta last weekend, so we had to come up with some fun indoor activities. Luckily Jen had done her research & found us some good ideas! Cams took an early nap Saturday so around 2pm we headed to a really cool bowling alley, and then we took an evening trip to the Georgia Aquarium.

After the aquarium we made a quick stop at Sprinkles Cupcakes to check out the cupcake ATM! Yes you read that correctly, a cupcake ATM! It was fun, and delicious!!
Sunday they had an early afternoon flight out so we didn't have too much time to do anything, and it had finally stopped raining, so we took a nature walk! Our neighborhood used to be a part of a national forest, and we have access to the trails in the forest on the next street over, but we had yet to check them out. It was beautiful back there & it was a great way to spend a Sunday morning.
It was hard to say goodbye to Dave & Jen, especially after such a fun weekend! We're so glad they came to visit! Doesn't our fun weekend make you want to come visit too!!?? :-)
