Our weekend

There's not really anything too exciting to report from our weekend, but the ordinary things are often some of my favorite things! 

Friday we made sure to get in some play time with our neighbors as they will both be on vacation next week as it's "fall break" here, which means no school for a whole week! To top it off Dan will be traveling for two days for the first time since we moved here. Stay tuned for more on how that goes...

We are definitely creatures of habit in this family! Friday night we ventured back to the Marietta Square for dinner at our new fav restaurant; Social House. The girls ate a good dinner & earned an ice cream treat after, which we enjoyed in the park in the center of the square. They also enjoyed a little climbing & playtime before we headed home for the night. 

Saturday morning both Dan & I got in a solo run, which was nice. I'm a bit faster when I don't have to push the double jogger up those hills! In the afternoon we met up with some friends at "Taste of Smyrna". The weather was hot but the company was good and they had bounce houses. What more could you ask for?! 

Today we took it easy & stayed home, and cleaned. Pretty exciting huh? It took a good majority of the day to get it done but it felt so much better once we did! We were due for a big clean, but we also wanted to get ready for our visitors, Uncle D & Auntie Jen who are coming to visit on Friday! We can't wait!
