11 months old!!

11 months old!!

In addition to celebrating Christmas, this month we also celebrated Emmy turning 11 months old!! We cannot believe our little bean is almost 1 year old!! Where has the last year gone??

At 11 months old Emmy is a busy little girl! She's officially walking and starting to talk more & more each day! She's starting to know right from wrong, even though she often tells us "na" (no) and then does it any ways. She's been really good with the Christmas tree, although she is starting to get more "liberal" with how much she touches and/or takes off of the tree! She knows which are the few ornaments we let her take off, and she enjoys playing with those. Emmy is pretty much eating all table food now, she seems to enjoy being able to eat the same things we're eating, and to feed herself. I've started giving her some cold formula in a cup with her meals too, to hopefully help with the transition from the bottle to milk. She's taking the milk pretty well, but shes still getting 4 bottles a day. She plays really well with her toys, and is starting to play more independently at times too. She really enjoys putting things in & out right now, especially into her shopping cart! She's still putting any & everything into her mouth, but hasn't gotten any new teeth in awhile. I do think she is going through a growth spurt though. Just this week I've noticed her hands and feet look bigger, and she seems to be taking longer naps as well. We are quickly approaching the 1 year mark so I wouldn't be surprised if it is a growth spurt!
