7 months old!?

7 Months Old on Thanksgiving!

Our little turkey is 7 months old!! Month 7 was a big one for Cameron, she's grown & changed a lot in the last month! She didn't have a 7 month well visit, but we did get her weighed when we went in for her flu shot, and Cameron weighed in at 18lbs! We didn't get her length measured but she's definitely getting longer, as she keeps needing bigger pants! She's almost out of 9 months clothes and has worn a lot of 12 months clothes already! But this works out perfectly for us because she's been able to wear all of Emmy's old clothes!! Even better is that all of Emmy's Christmas outfits were 12 month sized so she'll have lots of fun holiday attire to wear!

Dan & Cameron's vampire teeth!

Cammy got two new teeth on top this month, but they're not where you'd think they'd be!! Instead of getting the middle front two teeth, she has the next two! What's crazy about all this is that's exactly how Dan's teeth came in too!! So not only does she look exactly like her daddy, she's getting his teeth too!!

Trying to escape!

Cameron continues to be a happy girl, and her personality seems to come out more & more each week! She's typically very smiley & happy, so when she's not you know something is wrong. Unfortunately we learned this when she got sick just before Thanksgiving. She caught a virus & it went into her lungs, so the doctor's office gave her a breathing treatment which really helped. We only had to give her 2 more on Thanksgiving & she was much better.

mmmm peas!

Cameron is officially eating baby food, and loving it! We tried starting with solids early in month 6 but she wasn't too interested so we took a week off, and then at her 6 moth well visit the doctor encouraged me to keep trying to get her more comfortable with it. So we started up again & Cam loved it! She's now had: bananas, pears, apples, sweet potato, peas, butternut squash and carrots. We also tried greek yogurt last week, but she spit up a lot the next day so we took a break from introducing new foods for a few days. Next up is avocado, and I'm not sure what's after that... any suggestions??

Cameron is officially crawling! Not full-on-hands-and-knees-crawling yet, it's more of an army crawl, but it gets her where she wants to go! It's exciting that she's moving around now, but we wouldn't have minded if she waited until after the Christmas tree was down to start moving on her own... ;-)
